The ROOM is DONE:)
YEAH:) The boys have officially moved into their new room!!! After a lot of HARD work this weekend from Chris and his dad, the boys have slept in their room for two nights now....and they are loving it!!! it is soooo awesome and looks better than I could ever have imagined...I do not have decorations up yet or their clothes moved, but I am going to work on that...I just am sooooooo excited that they are able to have their new room and adjust to it!!!!!! also Ashley is adjusting well to having her own room for NOW!!! I told her that I would be cleaning out the boys' stuff and putting the baby stuff in and she told me "NO"....sorry little girl, you have to share with the new baby!!!

Sweet, Sweet Jillian
We would like to introduce you to our newest neice....Jillian Grace Lansink was born last Tuesday, July 14th and sadly left our world to be with God on Wednesday July 15th...She is a sweet angel and we miss her terribly...Please pray for Adam, Jodi, Ellie and Malia as they go on through this journey that is so, so hard.... We love you and are praying and thinking about you!!

working on the new room
Grandpa and Grandma Schrunk came this weekend, so Grandpa could help daddy get farther in the room for the boys:) They got A LOT done so, it is just a matter of time now:) Hopefully not much longer, cause I think the boys are getting antsy...well and me too, but hey I have a lot going to happen in the next couple months, I need to start getting stuff ready!!! But not much longer now thanks to Chris and George's hard work this weekend...the room is really looking awesome!!:)
We also meet up with some friends last week after supper for some Sonic treats...yummy yummy... so their are pictures of that too...
The next few days are going to be crazy and probably very emotional for our whole family...we are praying for Adam, Jodi, Ellie and Malia and of course little Jillian...we can't wait for her to make her arrival, but are nervous and anxious as well...we are just praying for the best outcome for everyone and know that God has everything planned...Please if you can keep them in your prayers!
Also Grandma Jane is having knee surgery on Thursday this week, so we are praying for a good surgery and speedy recovery for her...
So for now, that is all! Just lots of prayers.....thank you!

Happy 4th and some picnics!
We had a pretty low stress weekend, which was really nice after such a busy one last weekend!
We just got to hang out and do a lot of cleaning and catching up on some playing... Chris had to work, so he missed out on the relaxation:( but the rest of us enjoyed ourselves...
On Saturday morning, the kids did have their neighborhood 4th of July parade to be in...it was their 2nd year, and this year they all got to ride their bikes/tricycle in the parade...it was lots and lots of fun!!! then afterwards we got to have refreshments and play with some of the neighbor kids! glad the rain held off for that fun event!!
We didn't even stay up to see any fireworks this year...maybe next year:)
On Sunday, Grandpa and Grandma Lansink drove up on the motorcycle...we had some lunch and then played in the park for the afternoon!!! it was lots of fun:) the kids always love it when a Grandma or Grandpa comes to play with them...way more fun then mom and dad!!!
Also last week, we had such fabulous weather, that we took advantage and ate our lunch outside as a picnic EVERY DAY!! it was sooo nice and the kids loved it...they called it a "picnic Party" !!! too cute:) anyway...it was nice and easy clean up for me, so I thought why not...there are some pics of them enjoying their "picnic party" included with the 4th pics of the parade!

Fun Fun Weekend
We had a FABULOUS weekend:) soooo much fun, don't even know where to start!! I guess at the beginning, HUH:)
So we took off on Friday around noon and left town to head to Cedar Rapids to see Chris' sister and her family!! The kids got to PLAY with their cousins...it was sooo much fun, they were so excited to see them, so it was great to be able to play and enjoy some time with them!!
When we got there on Friday, we got settled in and the kids played in the backyard for a while, then we ate, and THEN we went to their pool that they belong too!!! SOOO much fun, they have a great "baby" area, so the kids got to jump in and play in that area for at least a good hour or soooo...boy were they exhausted...then it was back to the house for some ICE CREAM!!! Aunt Kathy doesn't spoil her neice and nephews at ALL!!:) anyway...then it was definitly time for bed...after a good nights sleep, it was time to play as hard as possible again in the morning...after a fabulous breakfast, the kids got to play and goof around...both inside and out, they couldn't make up their minds...anyway ya look at it, it was tons of fun...then after a great lunch, the kiddos hopped in the bathtub with Nick and got cleaned up for the wedding that we were going to be on the way too....
It was such a "short" visit, but we packed it full of fun...The kids can't wait to come again and see their cousins...hopefully soon!!!!
Then it was time to say our goodbyes, and it was off to Cedar Falls/Waterloo for my cousin Cara's wedding to Seth Johnson!! we got all checked into the hotel and Chris and I got freshened up...then it was on to find the ceremony sight...it was a great ceremony...and then it was time to PARTY!! the reception was right across the street from our hotel, so it was very nice...we partied until we couldn't party anymore! HA:) actually until the kiddos fell asleep on Grandpa and Grandma... It was great to see lots of family that we haven't seen for a while and get to dance and just have fun...
On Sunday, we had the breakfast at the hotel, and then we called up my cousin Jim and his wife Mandy who live right their in Cedar Falls...we had visited with them at the reception and decided to let our kids play with their 2 adorable little girls...so we went over to their house, where the kids played and played with Ava and Addy...then we BBQ'ed for lunch and headed home....Thanks for having us over guys:) it was great to see you all!!! The kids were asleep before we had even gone like 2 blocks!!! VERY NICE!!!
We had a great, fun, exhausting weekend...of course they always go way too fast when you are having fun like that, but it was well worth the trip!!! We are glad for everyone that we got to see that we don't see that often and we hope to get together with you again soon!!!

Father's Day & more
Happy Father's day to all of the dad's out there!!! sorry I am a few days behind, but we have been busy busy around here:)
On Father's Day, Dad (Chris) had to work...so we took him out last weekend to Texas Roadhouse...it was very yummy and we had a great time:) Thanks Chris for all you do...the kids and I both love you very much and appreciate everything!
So on the actual day, we drove down to Ida Grove, to visit and have a BBQ with the Spotts' side of the family! It was lots of fun, really good food, and HOT!!! the kids got to play with Ellie and Malia, which they LOVED, of course:) and we just got to enjoy the day...
Grandpa Lansink had a surprise for the kiddos...a new motorcycle!!:) "His Father's Day present" or so they claim!!! Very nice ride, the boys had one of course!! but Ashley opted out of one this time...maybe next time G & G!!!
Sunday was not only Father's Day, but also Chris' dad, Grandpa George's birthday!!! we hope that he had a wonderful "double" celebration!!!
Now the past few days have been extememly hot, so we have just been busy playing and trying to keep cool...In an effort to do that, the boys got their hair "buzzed" last night!!! they look really cute, of course:) but Ashley wanted a buzz too...I told her NO!!!!! at least for now, I have some say in the hair do for her, so it is long and up in pony's while the weather is hot!! sorry the pic of the boys' buzzed look isn't the greatest...I will have to get them to HOLD STILL so I can take one so you can see the full effect!! YEAH RIGHT, HUH:)
Here are some pics from the last few days...Now up coming is going to be a VERy fun weekend...we get to see the "other" cousins and PLAY!! whooHOO!!! and we get to go to a wedding, and boogie!! should be fun, hope this heat breaks so we can enjoy it!!

Lazy Blogger
Sorry all...I have had things to blog about, but just been lazy....opps!!!
So last weekend, we had a wedding to go to...we had tons of fun! Chris had to work so I drove down with the kiddos and headed to the reception and waited for Grandpa and Grandma Lansink and Uncle Aaron...we had a very good time, Ashley fell asleep in my arms, but the boys danced...I only have a couple of pics of that!!
Then on Sunday, the big day!!! It was Grandma Teresa's dance recital!!! She had a rather large cheering section and did an awesome job with her tap number!!! I did video tape it on our camcorder, but don't know if I have the right cable to connect it to download it to the computer..and since I was taping I didn't take pics!! sorry Grandma, but we all thought you did an AWESOME job:) can't wait to see next years performance!! and if I get that cord thing figured out I will download it for you all to watch:)
While we were gone for the weekend, Chris got to have the chance to put up the boys' bunkbeds!!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo:) they love them!!! lots and lots of fun, except we have to rotate nights on who sleeps on top!!! then once their new room is done, we will just move the bunkbeds where they are supposed to go....
We had an ultrasound this week!!!!!!!!! It was on Thursday, and it went very well:) everything looks great, baby weighs about 1 pound 9 ounces, and yes it is still just ONE baby:) haha:) and yes, Chris knows if the baby is a boy or girl!!! and I don't:) he is keeping it a secret, and he has done a good job soooo far, I had a weak moment right after he found out and asked him, but it was just that, a weak moment and then I came to my senses cause I really do want to be surprised!!! so I guess everyone else will be too!!! enjoy the suspense:)
This weekend, Grandpa and Grandma Schrunk came so Grandpa could help daddy work on the new room!!! all is looking good:) they have made some good progress, they have a ceiling and one wall done, just 3 more to go, then mudding and taping and all that fun stuff and we should have something that resembles a bedroom!! They are doing a great job on it and the boys are VERY excited to get to be in their room!!!
