5 months

Evan Christopher is 5 months old!! He is such a cute little chunk and such a happy baby:) He is doing really well with the oatmeal version of things, and I am going to start him on some veggies here soon...it won't be long and he will be running after the other 3 monkeys!!

I got nothing...

Soooo....nothing new here!! The kiddos have been fighting off a cold, cough combo that has kept it pretty mellow around here lately...Elliott and Evan both ended up with pink eye...craziness...but after some days of drops, all seems to be better on that front, I am pretty sure that these coughs will hold on until this darn snow melts...oh will we EVER be able to see our back yard again?!?

So Grandpa Doug and Grandma Teresa came up yesterday to eat luch with us and play for a little while, and they gave the kids their valentine's...They all looked so cute in their new jammies!! Thank you:)

And then today, we looked out the window after lunch and what did we see!?! TURKEY:) 3 of them right in our drive way...the kids thought that was pretty fun!!

I am planning on giving Mr Evan some Oatmeal ceral tonight, so I will post some more pics then, but until then, this is all I got!!

OH!!! We did have a new babysitter on Saturday night:) WOOHOO!! the kids really liked her and she said she had fun and would come back!! AND Chris and I and our friends had a super night out at Kahills...It was SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy!! Awesome to get out of the house and have some fun, and still know that the kids are having fun too!! No pics from our night out, but next time we do that, I will take some and show you all what a good time we are having:)

Evan's first ceral!

On Monday night, we gave Evan some ceral for the first time! He really didn't quite know what to think, but he seemed to like it:) But after two nights of ceral and two nights of not sleeping, I am thinking his tummy may not be ready for it....so last night we didn't do ceral and what do ya know, he slept like he usually does...soooo, I guess we won't be doing ceral for a little big longer, I need to call the doctor and see what she thinks and then we can go from there! But since it was his first ceral, here are some pics to enjoy:)

Also, the boys brought home some cute "projects" from school yesterday...a cute valentine for us and them practicing writing their names! they are getting pretty good at it!!

Oh, and here are a couple cuties from this morning, while the boys were at school!

Haircuts

Today we got some much needed haircuts for Chris, Ayden, Elliott and Ashley! We even got Ashley's back of her hair cut off, probably about an inch or maybe a little more:) It looks really cute...of course it is still long enough to pull up in pretties, but now hopefully on the days she won't let me do anything to her hair (which is most days) it will still look somewhat cute:)

And this cutie didn't get a haircut today, but he just wanted to say HI!!

Bathtime

So, Evan has sort of out grown his baby tub, so it is time that he join in the fun in the big tub with the big kids!! HA! He is very interested in being in the tub with them, doesn't even cry at all:) The kids love him to be in there too...Sorry in the pic, Elliott did NOT want his picture taken...I do what I can!!

Also, here is a pic of the boys on their birthday night blowing out their candle on some scotcharoos:) yummy!! and just for fun, one of them all together:) We really haven't been up to anything too exciting around here...just biding our time and waiting for spring to arrive (it can't come soon enough)!! The boys have been going to preschool and are loving it! They are now practicing writing letters and are both getting close to doing their names pretty well! It is so exciting to watch them learn and to see how excited they are to do new things:) We also have been playing a lot of games...loving Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders...and of course the boys LOVE to do bowling on the WII:) So that's about all for now...hopefully we find something fun to do this weekend and I will have more to blog about then!
